This policy explains what personal data we collect on kingwhips.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Law LOPDGDD 3/2018.
1. Contact data. When you message us on WhatsApp or through a form, we receive your name, phone number, company name, and what you write. We use it to answer you, prepare quotes, and manage your account.
Legal basis: taking steps before entering a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
2. Business verification (KYC) data. Before we supply any distributor, we collect company details: legal name, CIF/VAT number, delivery address, and the name and contact details of the company representative, plus the signed End-Use Declaration. We use this to verify your business is real and eligible, as our compliance process requires.
Legal basis: contract (Art. 6.1.b) and our legitimate interest in lawful, traceable B2B supply (Art. 6.1.f).
3. Tool inputs. If you use our free tools (Distributor Map, Profit Calculator, Compliance Score), we may process the answers you enter to show you results. Quiz answers are not used to profile you personally.
Legal basis: your request to use the tool (Art. 6.1.b).
4. Website analytics data. We use analytics and advertising cookies (for example Google Analytics and Meta) to understand how the site is used and to measure our marketing. See the [Cookie Policy] for details and choices.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a), given through the cookie banner.
We share data only when needed to serve you:
- Logistics partners — name, company, and delivery address, to deliver your order.
- Service providers — website hosting, analytics, and communication tools (including WhatsApp/Meta when you contact us there). These providers process data under contract with us.
- Authorities — if the law requires it, or to prevent unlawful use of our products.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send your data outside the EU/EEA except to providers covered by valid transfer safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Enquiries that do not become customers: up to [12] months.
- Customer and KYC records: for the length of our business relationship, plus the period Spanish tax and commercial law requires us to keep invoices and records (generally up to 6 years).
- Signed End-Use Declarations: kept for the same period as the customer record, as part of our compliance file.
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your data, ask for a copy (portability), or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email sales@atlascrowns.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell active customers directly.
